Privacy policy
Last updated 30 August 2026
This policy describes what happens to the information you give us when you submit a request on this site. It covers this website only.
Who is responsible
Request for Agent operates this site and decides what happens to the data described below. For anything in this policy, including the rights listed at the end, write to hello@requestforagent.com.
What we collect
When you submit the request form, we store what you type into it:
- your name and email address;
- your company, if you fill it in;
- your role, the job you want done, and the outcome you want;
- any extra context you add, and your AI provider and deployment preferences.
The free-text fields are yours to fill as you see fit, so please do not paste credentials, personal data about other people, or anything confidential you are not free to share. Describe the job — we will ask for specifics later, over email, once there is something to build.
Why we use it
To answer your request: to scope it, to price it, to build what you asked for, and to keep in touch by email while that happens. Email is the channel the whole service runs over, so submitting a request means we will email you about it. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent them.
The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us.
What appears on the public board
The board on the homepage shows requests we have explicitly marked public. It shows the request — the job, its stage, its tags — and never the person who submitted it. Your name, email address and company are not published. If you would rather your request did not appear on the board at all, say so and we will keep it off.
Who else can see it
Our hosting provider and our email provider process the data on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver the mail. They act on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes. We do not share your request with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
This site sets a session cookie and a security token needed to submit the form safely. That is all. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking on this site, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
How long we keep it
We keep a request for as long as it is useful to the work: while it is open, and after delivery as a record of what was built. If a request goes nowhere, we clear it out once it is clearly dead. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Email hello@requestforagent.com and we will handle it. If you are not satisfied with how we do, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
